Category : Autism , Back to School , Blog
Children’s Communication Center is thrilled to continue its support and share “goodies” with the children participating with the Autism Speaks U organization at the Florida State University as they walk together in this year’s FSU Homecoming Parade!
We appreciate the opportunity to continue to participate with this wonderful group of college students who are eager to increase “…awareness, advocacy and fundraising efforts for Autism Speaks…”
Nationwide, “…since its inaugural event at Penn State in 2006, Autism Speaks U events and student-organized Walk teams have raised over $7 million…”
In the spring of 2016, this Center was contacted by Autism Speaks U-FSU regarding their 5K Event where we earned the First Place Fundraiser’s Award!
Be sure to read this Center’s story, “This Is Why We Walk” and visit this Center’s Facebook page to watch our 3 part video story about our ASU 5K Team!
We are looking forward to participating in more events with Autism Speaks U-FSU!
Happy Homecoming!! Have fun, be safe and take pictures to share with us!
