YaYa’s in the Kitchen: Peach & Blueberry Crumble

What’s a YaYa to Do?

When a box arrives on a Saturday afternoon and your husband suggests you open it, well you open it!

A new beautiful pie plate inside with a sweet note, “A treat for YaYa’s Kitchen!”

It is true, life is timing as YoYo just picked tomatoes at a local farm and also came home with fresh Georgia peaches. Our fridge and freezer are also filled with hand-picked with local organic blueberries the two weekends prior.

Summer Speech-Language Packages Available NOW!

Here Comes Summer

Yes, Children’s Communication Center (CCC) is offering our successful and highly requested Summer Packages for the 25th summer!

Parents and children often describe the Summer Packages as a customized camp experience combined with Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). *See our Director, Lori Savage Grayson’s note below.

In addition, CCC offers intensive and highly focused programs as appropriate for those who would benefit from these type of services. This allows for more than one session per week, as appropriate.

While each session may vary in length, typically each appointment is an hour. At this time, half day and full day are not available…maybe next year!

The Summer Packages are open to our alum, current, and new families!

We hosted a Take Your Parents to the Playground Day event, stocked the libraries with books for all ages, collected and donated books to our local Guardian ad Litem program, and celebrated with the community.

On June 25th, three weeks later, we went to add books, and this happened…
