Join Children’s Communication Center as we celebrate May is Better Hearing & Speech Month (BHSM), May 1st to May 31st!
BHSM is a national campaign to increase awareness & understanding of communication development & disorders and the beneficial roles that Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists play in the lives of more than 40 Million Americans (birth-adult) experiencing communication challenges.

-Find our Little Ones Rock (hand-painted rocks) filled with positive messages for our little ones throughout the community.
-Use each day to experience the ‘Art of Playing‘ and encourage your children to participate in ‘Take Your Parents to the Playground’ all month long.
-Celebrate our 1st year anniversary of the Little Free Libraries at Winthrop Park’s playground. Read with, read to, and read alongside your children & teens 15 minutes/day!
– Visit YaYa’s in the Kitchen blog posts filled with family friendly recipes. Cooking and baking with your children/teens allows for wonderful language and social communication opportunities.
