National Volunteer Week
This week, we received a Thank You email from Autism Speaks, and we wanted to share!
Hi Lori,
All of us at Autism Speaks want to take this opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude to the volunteers who support our organization throughout the year. The work we do would not be possible without the countless hours that our volunteers put in – fundraising, advocating, and informing, to help us enhance lives today and accelerate a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow. The invaluable support helps make the world a more accepting and understanding place for children and adults with autism and their families.
With thanks,
The Team at Autism Speaks
And, Children’s Communication Center would like to Thank all the volunteers who work with us tirelessly to accomplish the best for the children & families of our community.
Since opening our doors in 1993, we have been hosting local high school students, as well as, undergraduate and graduate college students from Florida and Georgia as volunteers.
Volunteers come to our Center to explore their interest in the field of Speech-Language Pathology, through our Community Partner and Philanthropy Share campaigns, and referred by family and friends of this Center.

We are looking forward to introducing our Summer 2017 volunteers and are scheduling Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 interviews!
To our volunteers of the past, the present, and the future:
You are all greatly appreciated,
Lori
